ATELIER – House of Events worked alongside MaxMine CEO Coert du Plessis to develop this inaugural and intimate event of less than 20 mining leaders. Designed to celebrate those driving change in the mining industry, the brief was to produce an experience that guests would want to be invited to, and create a sense of FOMO for those who miss out.

The event agenda was kept at a high level in order to maintain guest engagement and allow for a few surprises throughout the day. Guests enjoyed a relaxed lunch between the vines, a winery tour and blending class as well as two unique experiences in fitting with the local surroundings. In-between these experiences guests were given ample opportunities for meaningful conversation, networking and sharing insights into the latest industry trends away from the traditional conference room format. The day concluded with a fireside style chat from Jenn Morris, OAM (Non-Executive Director, Former Deloitte Partner, Dual Olympic Gold Medallist) on mining leadership culture and people performance.
